Marita and Eric were wed on October 18th surrounded by one of the most warm and welcoming groups of family and friends I've had the pleasure of working with. And Marita and Eric were so warm and welcoming themselves--which I already knew, having had such a great time with them during their engagement session! I had been excited about this wedding for a long time and I certainly wasn't disappointed. Congratulations to both of you, Marita and Eric. I'm so positive that there are many years of happiness awaiting you in your future.
Oh my! I can't even express my thoughts. (A couple of minutes, kleenexs and breaths later). What kind of emotional state will I be in when I see all of them.
These pictures are of a wedding ceremony where the emotions are so easily defined, having actual form and substance and that flow so freely between all of those involved.
And these pictures are just a sample of what Jena's gifting is! Thank you Jena & Michael!
Eric & Marita, the picture of Andrea and I is when I shared the poem Eric had written to me in 2005and I asked Andrea if I could read it at the reception on both parents behalfs. It was a very emotional time for me and it amazes me that Jena saw it as a picture to be taken.
The picture of Maddie is adorable. She is growing up so quickly and I am sure Marita, that you're folks will think of the time when you were that age.
Marita, the picture of you by yourself, beautiful, the look was one of confidence and softness and the wonderful anticipation of your future. Jena caught all of that.
Eric, the one of you touching Matt. I wonder what was going through your mind. Your past melding with your future? What a touching picture.
Katie, You are so beautiful, in side and out. You looked beautiful as Eric's attendant but had the tenderness and love for your children to let them know you love them by your firm but tender expression.
Eric & Marita, What a beautiful ceremony. We know that you had already vowed your hearts and lives to each other before you formally said your vows but I am so glad you had a ceremony and pictures that say it all.
The pictures of your rings is as unique as the rings, and as you two as one.
Being the born and raised cheesehead (aka Wisconsinite) that I am, I don't charge for travel for weddings booked in southern Wisconsin. I may be a San Diegan now, but the midwest will always have a special place in my heart.
On September 8th, we tied the knot and trust us, it was an eye opener to see the wedding world from the other side! But it's also helped us to understand what couples are going through and to be better wedding photographers.
Our own wedding reinforced for us that after all the preparation and planning, the wedding day will fly by and the only real reminder of the day will be your photographs. Those photos will bring you back again and again to that day, to re-live the love and beauty you felt. Ours make us smile and laugh every time we look at them; we want your photos to do the same for you.
